Tron is Set to Collaborate with Ethereum This Year Already, Says Justin Sun

During an interview on The Crypto Chick podcast, Justin Sun hinted at future collaboration with Vitalik Buterin’s Ethereum.

Justin Sun, Tron founder and CEO, and Vitalik Buterin, the co-founder of Ethereum, seem to have ended all wars and are currently on the way to a mutually beneficial collaboration.

Recently, speaking on Rachel Wolfson’s CryptoChick podcast and discussing the launch of the Tether stablecoin on Tron, Justin Sun stated that his crypto project would be officially collaborating with Ethereum. Acknowledging the DApps competition with Ethereum, Sun said that “competition produces better products”.

Tron CEO stated:

“First of all, everybody knows that Tron and Ethereum compete in the Dapp [sector], for sure. But I think definitely that this competition will result in a better product – the competition between Ethereum and Tron benefits the whole industry.”

Earlier, on Twitter, Buterin posted a photo where he is standing next to a poster of Justin Sun and wrote a sarcastic comment below:

Commenting on this Buterin’s tweet on CryptoChick podcast, Sun was in comfort with the sarcastic statement. Moreover, Sun was quite serious about the idea of a partnership between the competing Tron and Ethereum. He said:

“In terms of the comments he made recently, and the picture: Right now, I’m actually into love – the true love, and the brotherhood of the industry. So I think that in the future we will even collaborate with lots of the Ethereum developers, and also the enterprises built on Ethereum before if we make the industry better.”

Next Sun’s statement was also surprising:

“I think that even within this year we will see Tron officially collaborate with Ethereum, and will be something good for the industry.”

If the two companies start collaborating this year, the crypto industry may see something really great.

However, some believe that the partnership between the competitors is pretty vague. Many think that Sun’s statement is just another vagary from the counterparts’ trolling series. As we reported, just in February, amid the Saint Valentine’s Day, Sun promised to prepare a ‘secret campaign’, especially for Buterin.

The conflict between Sun and Buterin occurred last year when Sun compared Tron and Ethereum networks on Twitter. The infographic published delved into TPS, Transaction Fees, Coin Burn, Language Support and Extensibility, lauding the Tron network.

Then, Buterin publicly accused Tron Foundation of plagiarizing Ethereum whitepaper in their own. On Twitter, there were numerous disputes at that time.

Sun Network to be Released This Year

During Rachel Wolfson’s CryptoChick podcast, Justin Sun also mentioned the recent collaboration with Loom Network, a layer 2 scaling solution for Ethereum, which saw the cover for a Justin Sun hip-hop concept album released titled: “Enter the Sun.”

Further, Sun pointed out that the Tron-based version of stablecoin Tether (USDT) is set to be launched on April 9. As Sun stated, the Tron-based version of the stalwart stable coin will permit cheaper and faster transactions than the Bitcoin (BTC)-based Omni protocol USDT.

Moreover, on the podcast, Sun also threw some light on the awaited layer 2 scaling solution, titled the Sun Network, which is set to be released in the second quarter of 2019.

According to Tron founder, the initiative would increase transaction speeds by 100 times and the fees would also see a further decline.
