The new browser extension of Ctrl wallet allows users to manage assets across 2,300+ blockchains, by consolidating portfolios, swapping tokens cross-chain, and connecting to dapps with ease.

Self-custody wallet solution Ctrl, formerly XDEFI, recently launched a new browser extension allowing users to swiftly manage their assets across 2,300+ different blockchains including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, etc.

This browser extension will further simplify self-custody by consolidating all assets in a single, interactive platform that makes it easy for users to connect to dapps, aggregate their portfolio, swap tokens cross-chain, as well as uncover forgotten funds.

Furthermore, the Ctrl browser extension has a unique feature dubbed Gas Tank, that solves the contentious problem of gas fees in the crypto ecosystem. Using Gas Tank, users can pay all on-chain fees using a single balance of USDC or CTRL, irrespective of the blockchain. This eliminates the need to hold multiple tokens to pay for the gas fee.

Thus, the Ctrl wallet provides a seamless and efficient experience across multiple blockchains. Speaking on the development, Emile Dubié, Co-Founder and CEO of Ctrl said:

“The Gas Tank is a game-changer for self-custody. Our users can now interact cross-chain without the hassle of managing different gas tokens. This launch represents a significant step forward in making self-custody as user friendly as possible.”

Self-custody Ctrl Wallet Crossed Half-Million Users

Recently, the Ctrl wallet attained significant growth crossing more than half a million users and becoming the top 5 multi-ecosystem wallet grabbing the highest rating on the Google Chrome Store. Furthermore, existing XDEFI Wallet users will have their accounts and funds automatically transferred to Ctrl Wallet. This will enable them to immediately access the extension’s advanced features.

The Ctrl wallet features a unified portfolio view, enhancing the ease of use while giving users a single aggregated dashboard to manage their holdings across multiple accounts and blockchains. As a result, users can effortlessly track their assets as well as rediscover their funds, in the case they have forgotten.

Also, the portfolio summary allows users to easily locate their assets spread across different accounts. This even includes forgotten accounts linked to a single seed phrase. Emile Dubié said:

“Our extension wallet is making self-custody accessible to everyone around the world. Our team is committed to creating a wallet that empowers users to control their assets and take advantage of all the opportunities in crypto.”

With a setup time of under 15 seconds, Ctrl Wallet offers a seamless blend of simplicity and power, making self-custody easy for everyone – from experienced crypto users to newcomers discovering crypto for the first time.
