Korea Blockchain Week Names Sui Network as Its Official Partner

Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin will be one of the speakers, however, he remains on schedule to connect virtually. 

The Korea Blockchain Week is here and organizers have named Layer 1 blockchain Sui Network as the official conference partner. The Sui partnership recognition comes in addition to the event’s list of prolific top-tier sponsors and headline speakers.

KBW2024 to Feature Blockchain Industry’s Top Leaders

This marks the seventh edition of the event. Noteworthy, this event has gained large recognization as Asia’s most impactful blockchain conference, bringing together some of the brightest minds in the blockchain ecosystem.

Markedly, the title sponsors for the event, scheduled to be held between September 1-7, 2024, are Aptos Foundation and Tron. Orbs, Flare Network, and crypto payments firm Ripple Labs were also featured on the list of gold sponsors for the event. Other partners’ categories include Silver, Bronze, and Copper groups.

Embedded in the KBW2024 event, is a two-day “IMPACT” conference slated for September 3 to 4 at the Walkerhill Hotels & Resorts, Seoul, South Korea.

Mysten Labs co-founder and CEO Evan Cheng acknowledged the effort that Korea Blockchain Week invests every year into assembling the brightest minds and leaders of many innovative technology companies. He stated that Korea is gradually inching higher toward pioneering a massive wave of mainstream adoption of blockchain technology.

Cheng believes that Sui’s existing and established roots in the region make it a suitable partner to propel the KBW tradition of excellence and fuel the next phase of crypto’s growth across Asia. Many consider the KBW2024 as one of its kind considering the line-up of influential figures that the organizers have on their list of speakers.

Other speakers are Arthur Hayes, Mike Belshe, Yat Siu, Muneeb Ali, and Keone Hon amongst others. Some of the new headline speakers are Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse and Binance CEO Richard Teng.  Also, Yuga Labs CEO Greg Solano, and The Sandbox CEO and Co-founder Arthur Madrid will also take part. These speakers will share their wealth of knowledge and experience with the blockchain community that plans to grace KBW2024.

Furthermore, each of them will offer invaluable insights into the ever-evolving blockchain ecosystem.

Korea Blockchain Week Is Pushing beyond Asia Borders

Seon-ik Jeon, the CEO of Factblock and host of the KBW2024 event, identifies the growing list of headline speakers. He noted that this is a testament that KBW has grown significantly to become the prime avenue for impactful dialogues. This dialogue, he claims, fuels decisions in the global Web 3.0 industry.

For KBW2023, Simon Kim, CEO of Hashed, stated that “KBW is establishing itself as a B2B platform that goes beyond mere conferences and events, generating practical multinational business collaboration opportunities”.

Ultimately, the Korea Blockchain Week is a fusion of technology, culture, and self-expression to drive new frontiers.
