Gaming protocol Immutable has advanced its lead in the market with a record game app onboarding.

Immutable, a pioneering gaming blockchain, has revealed that its game hosting surpassed all expectations, setting a new record for 2024. This year, the protocol onboarded 250 games, the biggest signup since its inception.

Immutable’s achievements this year represent more than just numbers. It signifies a bold, new era for gaming, with the protocol driving this shift.

Immutable’s Unmatched Growth and Adoption in 2024

Immutable’s mission is clear: it wants to give every player digital ownership by making Web3 game development accessible and secure.

Thus far, this mission has resonated with over 440 well-funded games. Immutable has raised over $300 million in funding from global investors like Temasek, Tencent, and Bitkraft.

Immutable’s game development environment simplifies the complexities of building on the Ethereum blockchain. It offers developers a robust suite of pre-built solutions that reduce development time. Some of these solutions include personalized Web3 guidance and live community support.

Immutable’s growth trajectory has been excellent. The protocol’s ecosystem now boasts more than four million users. The protocol reached this milestone through the success of high-profile games like RavenQuest and GG Survivor. Immutable launches games regularly, with the latest on its timeline being “The Red One,” which will launch in closed beta.

According to reports from Messari and VanEck, Immutable commands an impressive 70% market share in the Web3 gaming sector. This figure further affirms its dominance in the industry.

The platform’s innovative approach to onboarding has also played a crucial role in its rapid adoption. The launch of Immutable Passport in January marked a turning point in its overall usability.

This Passport offers features like pre-approved transactions and seamless integration with Telegram mini-apps. This significantly improved the player experience by eliminating blockchain disruptions and simplifying onboarding.

Immutable’s Revolutionary Features and Partnerships

The protocol’s leadership was further solidified with the launch of Immutable zkEVM’s Mainnet. This is the first Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) chain dedicated to gaming.

This development delivered developers and players enterprise-grade security, low costs, and unmatched scalability. The Mainnet quickly gained traction, reaching 2.5 million monthly active users in three months, surpassing all other major blockchains.

Immutable also launched The Main Quest in April to further engage players, one of the largest rewards programs in Web3 gaming. This initiative provided millions of dollars in rewards to participants and helped foster stronger engagement across the ecosystem.

Interestingly, Immutable recently launched the Perpetual Rewards Program, designed to offer players exciting new ways to earn rewards.

As Immutable wraps up an extraordinary 2024, the company stated it plans to build on its success in 2025. Its leadership in the Web3 gaming space is set to expand even further, driven by regulatory clarity and growing institutional interest.
