Hamster Kombat’s Season 2 beta testing aims to enhance HMSTR’s utility, offering rewards and expanding the HamsterVerse ecosystem.

Hamster Kombat’s price has struggled to gain traction since its listing on multiple exchanges in late September. Many users offloaded the token due to unmet expectations, with some voicing frustration over the airdrop exchanges. Despite these challenges, the team remains steadfast, introducing a new initiative to boost user engagement: Hamster Kombat Season 2. This development has sparked optimism about whether HMSTR HMSTR $0.00235 24h volatility: 5.5% Market cap: $150.85 M Vol. 24h: $13.42 M could reach $0.01 before the year’s end.

The developers have provided more details about the Season 2 launch, which has helped increase the token’s price a bit.

HamsterVerse Begins with Closed Beta Testing for Season 2

On December 22, Hamster Kombat unveiled exciting details about its upcoming Season 2. The Telegram-based tap-to-earn game shared that this new season would go beyond gaming, introducing three initial games as the cornerstone of its ambitious HamsterVerse. Designed as an entertainment ecosystem, the HamsterVerse revolves around the game’s unique characters and stories, with all games within the platform utilizing the HMSTR token, potentially enhancing its utility. The developers also revealed plans for a Closed Beta testing phase, offering users a sneak peek into the project. Hamster Kombat announced:

“Season 2 will be more than just a game, it turned out much bigger and stronger than we ourselves initially anticipated. We’ll be kicking off not with one, but three games which will become the foundation of HamsterVerse! HamsterVerse is the entertainment ecosystem we’re building around the characters and storytelling of Hamster Kombat. All of the HamsterVerse games will utilize $HMSTR token on a regular basis.”

The Closed Beta testing includes a Cleam Contest, offering a prize pool of 3,000 USDT to contributors. Prizes will be distributed randomly, meaning participants only need to engage in the beta test to qualify.

Will Season 2 Spark a Revival for HMSTR?

Hamster Kombat has seen a significant decline in user numbers, dropping from 300 million in August to 23 million in December, according to Protos. This new initiative aims to attract more users and increase trading activity, which could potentially rescue the token from its downward trend. Disinterest among users has led to widespread token dumping, negatively impacting HMSTR’s performance. A rewarding initiative like this could reignite interest, encouraging users to accumulate more tokens and potentially boosting its value.

Currently, the price of HMSTR has increased by just 1% in the last 24 hours, with trading volume similarly rising by barely 1%. If the token can sustain this bullish trend during the Season 2 beta testing, its price could surge, especially once Season 2 officially launches.

While there is still negative sentiment surrounding Hamster Kombat, the chances of HMSTR reaching $0.01 before 2025 remain uncertain. However, with the full launch of Season 2 and the introduction of the HamsterVerse, the token could perform better in the new year.
