/BlockDAG/ – BlockDAG’s Dev Release 125 is rolling out a bunch of updates that aim to enhance users’ experience based on the feedback users have given after the successful testnet launch. This update speeds up syncing with multithreading, adds new contract listing features, and beefs up API implementations, making everything more dynamic than ever.

These changes show BlockDAG’s commitment to enhancing efficiency and keeping everything transparent. By keeping users in the loop and incorporating their feedback, BlockDAG is not just improving – it’s also building real trust within its community.

Post-Testnet Updates: BlockDAG’s Dev Release 125 Introduces Multithreading, Refined APIs & Comprehensive Contract Listings

Recent Updates on BlockDAG Explorer

After successfully launching the testnet, BlockDAG is actively working on improving the platform based on user feedback. For this purpose, Dev Release 125 has rolled out updates that tackle the recent syncing issues reported on the testnet.

Users were facing delays and inconsistencies in block data syncing across different nodes, which hampered the retrieval of accurate block information and transaction histories. This challenge arose due to the increased volume of real-time data being managed on the network.

To fix this, multithreading was introduced to the syncing process. This significant enhancement allows multiple data streams to be processed simultaneously, drastically improving data synchronization speed. Now, all nodes on the network stay updated in real time.

The advantages are clear: faster data processing and a smoother user experience, with no more delays or lag. Users can now enjoy an efficient and fully operational network, ensuring that block data, transactions, and smart contract activities are consistently synchronized and accessible.

New Features Disclosed

Parallel to improvements, the project has also introduced some new features for BlockDAG Explorer. It now shows the total number of transactions processed on the BlockDAG network, helping users monitor the network’s growth and rise in transaction volumes. Users can now also access detailed blockchain statistics, including the total number of blocks mined, gas fees incurred, and key metrics on overall network performance.

Whether users send tokens, deploy smart contracts, or use decentralized apps (dApps), they can immediately see the status and details of each transaction. Moreover, the explorer boasts usability improvements, offering faster and more intuitive navigation. It’s now easier and more efficient to browse through transactions, blocks, and smart contracts.

Contract Listing with In-Depth Tracking

Moving on, Dev Release 12 also introduces the Contract Listing feature on the BlockDAG Explorer. Soon, users can dive deep into any smart contract deployed on the BlockDAG Network. The upcoming contract listing module will showcase essential details like the total number of token holders, highlighting how tokens are distributed and the network engagement level.

It will also track the total transfers for each contract, showing user interaction frequency. Additional information, such as the type of chain, contract type, unique contract address, the creator’s address, and the exact deployment timestamp, will be readily accessible, too.

Users can also look forward to tracking detailed transaction histories, including the transaction hash, method, status, block number, age, value, and fees. This enhancement is set to enhance transparency and improve user experience on the BlockDAG Explorer.

API Implementation

API implementation is progressing, allowing real-time access to contract information on the BlockDAG Explorer. This initiative ensures users can access details like total holders, transfer history, and comprehensive contract stats smoothly.

Simultaneously, BlockDAG’s R&D team is exploring the UTXO model for contract listings, aiming to enhance decentralized transactions by increasing network flexibility and security.

Wrapping Up!

It’s clear that BlockDAG’s successful testnet launch has set a strong foundation. The latest Dev Release 125 brings multithreading and updated API functionalities, significantly improving efficiency and transparency.

Additionally, the $76.2 million raised in 23 presale batches signals a strong vote of confidence in BlockDAG’s capabilities. As the platform evolves, it continues to earn trust and credibility within the blockchain community.
