The CEO of AMC theatres Adam Aron took to Twitter to announce that their consumers can now avail e-cards up to $200 by making payments in Doge.

This marks a significant step into the worldwide adoption of Dogecoin as one of the viable cryptocurrencies available. The new payment option will be processed in association with the Bitpay Wallet. Bitpay has emerged as one of the most successful Bitcoin payment service providers and has been chosen by many prominent enterprises to facilitate payments in crypto. The company was founded in 2011 and has partnered up with many enterprises including the famous NBA team Dallas Mavericks.
Aron had previously conducted a poll on Twitter asking the community whether the theatre giant should accept payments for its tickets in Doge.
